One Response to “Classic”

  1. Joel Gwadz had a description of Schaeffer that really fits Rosaryville – “a really good place to crash.” He was going fast and miscalculated, and ate it there. Because the trails at R-ville are so smooth you forget that (1) you’re on single track; (2) it’s twisty and sometimes slippery; and, (3) you’re hauling butt between big old hard objects. You get a little complacent or too relaxed, and BAM! It’s all over except the drooling. And the disorientation. And two weeks where you can’t move in *that* direction without going “ouchouchouchouch.” Yes, I’ve done this at R-ville. A couple times.
