New Ways to Suffer

I’ve read other’s posts on training and stuffing themselves in the pain cave. For example,

Robb’s or how about Mike’s

He is my latest rendition…

CX (or mtb) race start simulation:

15 seconds hard – near 80% sprint (600+ W)

3 minutes z5+ (~400 W)

7 minutes z4+ (~360 W)

10 minutes threshold (325-345 W)

Wipe drool from face, snot from upper lip. Drink. Rest. Repeat. Die. Seems to be a good 20 minutes of deep suffering that resembles a race start. I’ve been following this with 20-30 minutes of tempo (270 W).
