Suffered through some intense workouts last week.  Started with learning how to count without breathing.  I was doing micro intervals – 10 minutes of 15 second bursts followed by 15 seconds of recovery – and my watch no work.  Powertap only displays power, no time, etc. (ejecting the monitor from the handlebar mount on one brilliant occasion sent it flying across the room, into the wall, then onto the floor – the lower portion of the LED objected by regurgitating its black ink across the screen).  So I was relegated to counting my 15 second intervals the old fashion way – 1MISSISSIPPI, 2MISSISSIPPI, 3MISSISSIPPI…

Saturday saw Judd, Josh, and I do a mini team TT down near Waldorf, MD.  This also included random attacks, sprints, and other ill-conceived efforts to destroy each other.  Finally, Sunday I road with some ETS, All-American, and ABRT guys out to Sugarloaf and back.  Another 4 hours of mild suffering.  This rendered me useless Sunday evening and into Monday.
