Geography Retreat

Spent Wednesday afternoon/evening through mid-Friday at the Osprey on the eastern shore (near Easton). It was a beautiful location and truly relaxing. There was lots of meetings, break-0ut groups, discussions, and strategizing about the future of our department, individuals, research, and the direction of our discipline. It was a productive time, but our down time was filled with great food, beer/wine, and enjoying our surroundings. I took out the canoes a few times and road a Schwinn beach cruiser down the country roads on Thursday evening. Here’s some pics…

  1. Loved the eastern shore when Dad and I visited in ’99. Had lunch in Easton and continued on down to Kent, St. Michaels and Teiglman Island. Would love to do that area again.
